얼마전 Village of Schaumburg 에서 “Adopt” 한 자전거 길을 청소하러 나갔습니다. 우리가 “입양” 한 자전거길은 일년에 두번 청소하는것이 의무인데 어제는 봄 청소였습니다. 큰 쓰레기 봉지로 4개정도가 찰정도로 쓰레기가 있었습니다. 꽤 많은 플라스틱 술병이 살짝 인상적이었다고나 할까요. 아무튼 살짝 추운 날씨에 함께 나가서 얘기하며 좋은일에 함께해서 감사했습니다. 가을을 기대하며../We went out to clean up the bike path that Salem EM recently adopted from the Village of Schaumburg. We are supposed to clean the adopted path twice a year, so this one was the Spring Cleaning. We have filled 4 large garbage bags full of trash. It was a bit surprising to see so many plastic liquor bottles. Anyway, it was a bit chilly but a blessed time serving our community and we had fun talking and working together. We look forward to the next one in fall..
